This is a custom-made piece using Kyo-Yuzen dyeing techniques.
It features a tenjo-gara (ceiling pattern) with gold koman embroidery.
The color is a very subdued, light purple.
There is no artist's name, but it was introduced by the tailor I always use.
I believe the price, including tailoring, was around 950,000 yen.
The lining (hakake) also has a pattern.
This piece has a higher formality than a houmongi (visiting kimono), so it can be fully utilized for occasions such as greetings.
