Vintage Timberland Model 10284 Super Boots, also known as the iconic 40 Below Super Boot. Made in USA and constructed from substantial brown leather with genuine Vibram lug outsoles.   This rugged vintage model features Timberland's distinctive tall Super Boot silhouette with triple padded bubble collar, heavy-duty metal D-ring/speed-lace hardware, full leather tongue and embossed Timberland tree branding.   The Super Boot design dates back to 1979 and became associated with extreme cold-weather use and Timberland's history with the Iditarod. This pair is an older USA-made example with model number 10284 stamped inside. Leather shows scuffs, scratches, creasing, rubbing, discoloration and areas of surface wear consistent with age and use. Wear is also present around portions of the tongue and upper edges. Laces show age/wear. Vibram outsoles retain substantial visible tread.
