MIRACULOUS MEDAL | “to wear about the neck for graces” | on navy blue yarn Features: • Designed & revealed in apparition by The Blessed Mother Mary to Saint Catherine Laboure, this medal is unique amongst all religious medals. In Nov. of 1830, Mary again appeared to the saint at the Catholic Rue de Bac Chapel, seen standing on a globe with brilliant rays of light streaming from her outstretched hands (as Our Lady of Grace), & around Her, the words:”O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.” Mary then gave St. Catherine this message: “Have a medal made like this shown model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around their neck. Those who repeat this prayer with devotion will be (in a special manner) under the protection of the Mother of God. Graces will be abundantly bestowed upon those who have humble and holy confidence in this gift.” The Church approved the first medals to be made in 1832 in Paris. Only ten original medals are known to exist today, and one of them is housed at the Miraculous Medal Shrine in France. Diligent use of the Miraculous Medal quickly spread across the region into other countries. As of St. Catherine’s death in 1876, more than a billion medals had been made, still drawing down from God blessings for body and soul. ***Hit the “Buy Now” button below to guarantee it’s immediately yours.
