Description
This listing features a vintage collection of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic works, including 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King) and 'The Hobbit', presented together in a golden slipcase. Also included is a separate paperback copy of 'Unfinished Tales'. These are Ballantine Books editions, primarily from the late 1970s and 1980s printings, manufactured in the United States. The books feature iconic cover art and yellow-edged pages. The slipcase shows wear consistent with age, including scuffs and some fading. The individual paperback books are in fair to good condition for their age, with typical signs of use such as shelf wear, creased spines, and some yellowing/foxing to pages. 'Unfinished Tales' is also a paperback with similar condition. Please review all images for a detailed look at the condition of each item.
