Featuring a unique multi-strap gladiator-inspired design, these sandals are accented with three round silver-tone buckles across the vamp and a slingback ankle strap with adjustable buckle closure. The insoles are stamped “Feather Foam – Protected with Nuodex”, a cushioning and preservation process used during the 1940s–50s.  Very good vintage condition for age. Leather shows minor wear consistent with age. Light scuffs at straps and soles. No major flaws—clean and wearable, though as with all vintage shoes, may require gentle handling.  Buskens was known for its “Feather Foam” cushioned insoles, marketed as extra-comfortable in mid-century women’s footwear.
